The Tea House Theatre recreates the warm, intimate atmosphere of Hong Kong’s early 20th-century tea houses. Audiences are served traditional tea and dim sum during a Cantonese opera performance featuring a range of vocal and music styles. All performances are subtitled in Chinese and English, and are accompanied by an expert moderator to help newcomers gain insight into the history of Chinese traditional theatre.
